Hey Ruby ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit heyruby.com.au or buy from us, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

Contact and order details: your name, email, phone number, and billing and shipping addresses.
Payment details: processed securely by Shopify and our payment providers. We never see or store your full card number.
Account details: if you create an account, your login and order history.
Messages: anything you send us through email, our contact, referral or ambassador forms, or social media.
Device and usage information: your IP address, browser, device and how you use the site, collected with cookies and similar technology.

How we use it

To process and ship your orders, and to handle returns, warranty claims and the Happy Dog Promise.
To answer your questions and look after your account.
To run our referral and ambassador programs, including tracking rewards and commissions.
To send you recipes, news and offers if you have signed up. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
To understand how the site is used, improve it, and keep it secure and free of fraud.
To meet our legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We share only what is needed with the services that help us run Hey Ruby: Shopify (our store platform), payment providers, Australia Post and other delivery partners, email and marketing tools, referral and affiliate apps, and analytics and advertising partners. Some of these providers may store information outside Australia. We do not sell your personal information.

We use cookies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, measure how the site performs and show relevant ads. You can control cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work without them.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as we need it to provide our services, keep proper records and meet legal requirements, then delete or de-identify it.

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, and our store runs on Shopify's secure platform. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your account login private.

Children

Our store is not aimed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
